Social Media Terms and Conditions

The promoter is: ADMA: Association for Data-driven Marketing and Advertising whose registered office is Tower One, Level 27/100 Barangaroo Ave, Barangaroo NSW 2000. (Australian Computer Society Inc trading as ADMA ABN: 53 156 305 487)

  1. The competition is open to Australian residents aged 18 years or over except employees of ADMA, sponsors, associates and their close relatives and anyone otherwise connected with the organisation or judging of the competition.

  2. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.

  3. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.

  4. Route to entry for the competition and details of how to enter are via https://au.linkedin.com/company/adma 

  5. Only one entry will be accepted per person. Multiple entries from the same person will be disqualified.

  6. Closing date for entry will be 4th March 2022 at 5pm. After this date no further entries to the competition will be permitted.

  7. The Promoter is not responsible for entries not received within the promotional period for any reason whatsoever.

  8. To enter, simply like the competition post as found on/ distributed by https://au.linkedin.com/company/adma 

  9. Comments section of the same post – tag three (3) of your marketing peers. 

  10. All names/ social media handle of all valid entries will be entered into the draw. The winner will be selected by random draw on 7th March. Winners will be notified online in the announcement post by tagging them.

  11. At time of notification, the winner will be required to provide their name, address, email address, and phone number and the name, address, email address and phone number of the person who will be redeeming the second ticket.  

  12. The winner will receive 2 x Tickets to the ADMA Global Forum 2022 valued at $2290.

  13. Decision as to who will be redeeming the 2 x tickets is the responsibility of the winner. The Promoter will play no part in determining this allocation. Ticket prize does not include travel to and from the venue, spending money, all meals and beverages (unless specified above), and ancillary costs associated with redeeming the prize. These are the responsibility of the winner.

  14. This prize must be redeemed on the date of the event as stipulated by the Promoter. Prize must be taken as offered. The prize, or any unused portion of the prize is not exchangeable or cannot be taken as cash. The prize cannot be used in conjunction with any other special offer, the prize is valued in Australian dollars. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the prize value Redemption of the ticket prize is subject to the terms and conditions stipulated on the ticket and on the event registration website. The Promoter will not be liable for any ticket that has been lost, stolen, forged, damaged or tampered with in any way.

  15. ADMA reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of ADMA’s control. 

  16. In the event that for any reason whatsoever the Winner does not take the prize at the time stipulated by the Promoter, then the prize will be forfeited by the Winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu of the prize.

  17. The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.

  18. The prize is as stated and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. Prizes are subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.

  19. Winners will be chosen: at random from all entries received and verified by Promoter and or its agents.

  20. The winner will be notified by phone or email and announced on social platforms and/or letter within 7 days of the closing date. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 7 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.

  21. The promoter will notify the winner when and where the prize can be collected / is delivered.

  22. The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.

  23. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.

  24. The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by Australian law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.

  25. The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material, as well as their entry. Information and personal data collected will be held in the strictest of confidence on a secure database. This information may be used in order to contact you regarding future events, product development and services offered. If you do not wish to be contacted please email globalforum@adma.com.au

  26. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Twitter or any other Social Network. You are providing your information to ADMA: Association for Data-driven Marketing and Advertising and not to any other party. The information provided will be used in conjunction with the following Privacy Policy found at https://www.adma.com.au/privacy-policy

  27. ADMA: Association for Data-driven Marketing and Advertising decision as to those able to take part and selection of winners is final. No correspondence relating to the competition will be entered into.

  28. ADMA: Association for Data-driven Marketing and Advertising have the right, at its sole discretion and at any time, to change or modify these terms and conditions, such change shall be effective immediately upon posting to this webpage.

  29. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process.  Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.

  30. The Promoter may collect personal information (“PI”) in order to conduct the promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such PI to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, prize suppliers and, as required, to Australian regulatory authorities. Entry is conditional on providing this PI. The Promoter will also use and handle PI as set out in its privacy policy, which can be accessed by Privacy Policy. In addition to any use that may be outlined in the Promoter’s Privacy Policy, the Promoter may also, for an indefinite period, unless otherwise advised, use the PI for promotional, marketing, publicity, research purposes, including sending electronic messages or telephoning the entrant. Entrants should direct any request to opt out, access, update or correct PI to the Promoter and direct any complaints regarding treatment of their PI according to the Privacy Policy. 

  31. ADMA: Association for Data-driven Marketing and Advertising also reserves the right to cancel the competition if circumstances arise outside of its control.
